The Ford Motor Company just sold its most luxurious brands, Jaguar and Land Rover, to an Indian auto company, Tata Motors Ltd. After hearing of this acquisition, it became apparent to me, “Why are Americans outsourcing all their luxury?” America is home to some of the most unique, talented and creative designers. Yet, all anyone is interested in are the Valentino’s from Italy and the Commes Des Garcones from France. American designers do have what it takes. Whenever I wanted to show my creative and luxurious spirit I wrap myself in my Tory Dress. The print and colors are so alive and the silk feels incredible. Get out there and explore new designers of America, not just the European ones that have been around for ages.
